Intraoral Camera
What is an Intraoral Camera?
An Intraoral Camera is a small camera, about the size of a pen. An intraoral camera works by using a small camera lens attached to its tip and displays images on a nearby screen. An intraoral camera is minimally invasive and has no side effects for the patient at all. Due to the size of the camera, it is a comfortable option for having a deeper investigation performed on the mouth.
Why Use an Intraoral Camera?
Gulf Coast Dental uses Intraoral Cameras as a way to look into a patient’s mouth and display images and video that allow the patient to see what is going on in their mouth. This allows the dentist to not only show the greater details to their patient, but also allows the patient to learn more about their oral health, treatment and preventative needs.
The Gulf Coast Dental Difference
At Gulf Coast Dental, we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our patients. We are always seeking ways to better provide dental care to our patients and communicate with them about their oral health needs.
